An Excellent time was had by all. Loads of fun and talk. Thanks Sam and Chuck for posting the great pics, and thanks John for setting this up. Lot's of smiles and great company too. I enjoyed hanging out in the garage talking it up with the drivers and catching up with old friends. Laila too had a great time.

Great work Mike with your team. We didn't stay to the end, but it sure sounds like it was an exciting finish. Sorry we missed it.

Looking forward to the next opportunity to hang out with all of you. The friends and common interests make these clubs a pure pleasure. You all are da bomb.

I also would like to thank everyone that helped put this event together, one thing I think should be mentioned on the way into the track John Dilger's tow bar broke and his car ran through a gate and he now needs both a right and left fenders turn signels and a head light, John has worked tirelessly for year's to set up these events and has always come through for us, so if any of you have any fenders laying around or could help john with a good deal now is the time to step-up.

John, I'm sure you will have your car back on the track in no time, hey maybe this would be a good time to think about going widebody ? ,

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that.

Yes, John is one the best guys around. In fact, he was the very first guy to be rather friendly to me at a Dunkels a few times back. That at a time when many an early 911 owner was "a little wrapped up" in their gig. Another that comes to mind is Chuck Miller, for that and as many other reasons that both of these cats are super.

Well, I digress again, eh? A sugar scoop light won't be hard to source. All I have at the moment is one pass side fender that needs the bottom patched up with a piece I bought a ways back. I'll sure make it available given time to make the repair if fenders are getting too scarce.

On the widebody comment, well maybe not John's cup o' tea, but how about some fiberglass? Is that legit in the class he races in? I never saw anything to the contrary. Given the way he mixes it up with so many cars, I'm surprised it was a gate that did him bad. Fiberglass is easy to repair, as we all know.

    Thumbs up POC's pics

I've just received the Pics from the POC's photographer Steve Michaelson...
He sent them in huge files (about 2megs) ... it took about 2 1/2 days to get them all

Steve has since 'cleared' them from his computer ... so I have the only copies

Unfortunately and 'action' shots came out blurry (no mater how big the file is) Steve's apologies for that.

For those who didn't stay for the 'finish line photo shoot' my regrets... we could've used more cars

I have edited and resized to post them .... I will post 6 groups of 4 pics each

For those who want a copy of the full unedited full-size files please e-mail me direct at cmiller14@socal.rr.com and tell me which one or ones. If there are many requests there will be some delay getting them to you ... but I'll try my best.

Cheers, and thanks for your support of this neat event...
