    *1967 911S COUPE*

You are bidding on a numbers matching 1967 911s coupe. I have owned this car for the last 26 years. In this time the vehicle has NEVER been in rain or snow and has always been garaged. Car has been rarely driven but all maintenance has been performed at regular intervals.

I have unfortunately not used the vehicle in the last five years due to a medical condition, however I do start and run it periodically. This vehicle needs VERY LITTLE mechanically and cosmetically. What this vehicle needs the most is to be driven and enjoyed.

Over the years many items have been rebuilt or replaced including:

Alternator, regulator, muffler, stainless steel heat exchangers, oil cooler and lines, sway bar bushings, ignition and headlight switches, entire fuel line replaced from tank to carburetors, rebuilt all brake calipers and installed stainless steel brake lines with new master cylinder and converted brake fluid to silicone.

    DRIVETRAIN

Mileage reflected on odometer is not actual milage on vehicle. There is less then 10k miles on rebuilt engine and transmission using oem parts. I eliminated the points using an Allison Electronic Ignition. You can return to the point based system if desired. The only thing that I can think of that this car needs is rear shocks (rebuilt or replaced) but considering the age of the car I would also replace the front struts as well. This vehicle has a 26 gallon fuel tank. Engine runs great and there are NO mechanical problem. "Turn the key and go!"

    INTERIOR

The interior is all original except for Recaro seats which could use reconditioning (See pictures). I do not have the headrests or original seats. Vehicle has original european gauges. Headliner has been replaced (black). Foot activated passenger horn. Auxiliary gas heater - which needs servicing,I have the new oem muffler and pipe (see photos). Plastic pedal bushings have been replaced. Overall the interior is in very good condition.

    EXTERIOR

Exterior is not 100%. The car was repainted 12 years ago with clear coat paint in the original color. There are some minor chips and an area were paint is lifting (see photo). There are no dents or dings. Most trim items and rubber seals have been replaced. The vehicle has european front and rear light lenses as well as a louvered muffler skirt. The wheels are early 930 original Porsche wheels with the front being 7" wide and the rear 8" wide with new Bridgestone tires. I have two original wheels (one with a tire used as spare). I have all items that you may see missing in the photos including all engine compartment decals and ignition switch cover plate.

Foot activated passenger horn? Never seen that before! How do you get 7 & 8" 930 Fuchs on a narrowbody SWB car?

That thing is jacked up higher than a Rothmans 959 rally car! Seems nice enough. I want it.

    Foot activated passenger horn?
.. was on the 68T European Championship car (sister car Vic Elford) as well. It was for the navigator to be able to activate the horns as well.

Ok Lemme see... 100 litre tank, sport seats, outside temp gauge, rear muffler skirt, wood wheel (no cost option on the S), and Aga blue. Looks like I need to expand the garage....never can have enough 67S's

Don't forget the additional little guage on the left side of the dash. I can't tell if it is a outside temp gauge? It also has a trick looking 356 horn button on the butterfly. I didn't know they were the same size as the leather. I guess if I can't find the repro leather crests I can always use one of those on mine.

Gee, its nice to have the NOS muffler peices for the Webasto heater.

I guess we can attempt to guage the current 67S market with this one. Looks like a nice one to me too.

    Cheers
