    The paint looks very much like Mexico Blue, but Pastel Blue would have been the factory paint at the time, as MB was a 74 color. They are pretty close however, and the images can vary with lighting, etc.

    It looks like 647 has a 74 mirror...wonder why?

    Sweet! That car is really something. What fuel cell is in it now? Any cool bits inside the cockpit? This car hits the heart of " check writing " impulse, if there is such a thing.

    They should be 9" x 15 Minilites. Here is a genuine one on another ST

    What fuel cell is in it now? Any cool bits inside the cockpit?

    Jim - I haven't seen the car since it left the UK but it appears to have had some changes since I last saw it.

    I don't know whether it currently has a fuel cell installed but it used to have a 110 litre tank:



    Also, the original seats seem to have been swapped for (GTS Classics ?) repros:

    Well its nice to know that Andy and Tom have the globe covered for the "detective work". Great car!~.....so I have to ask......where can someone buy a gas tank like that??
