Would somebody mind taking some dimensions off their 911R fenders for me? I would like know what size the grill openings are. I got some Getty fenders but they are sans-opening.

    thanks,

    R fender opening

    Allan,
I came up with 175mm X 75mm (measurements taken along the center lines of the opening). The car had different size openings for each side, and the placement (distance from the hood) was greater when compared to known factory photos. This may have had replacement fenders ?

Thanks Ernie. Do you happen to know the dimension from the edges? I could have measured all this on Bill's 911R but I was too starstruck at the time.

    911R fender dimensions

    Allan,
the opening is 22mm from the hood and 14mm up from the bumper. Use this as a rough idea only for your placement. the opening size and placement on the blue car looks to be modified and/or non factory.

Thanks again Ernie, I owe you a cold one. I'll mark these things up and get them back to Getty this week.
