    Oddball Question???

    Has anyone ever tried making a frame for their custom 911's and put the body over it? Just pondering if it's feasible for salvaging 911's with rotted bodies. Probably a really stoopid question but one I gotta ask anyways.

    Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but my bro-in-law made one similar to the ones used on VW Bugs, but it bolts to the body where some of the front suspension bolts to the car. You can then tow it. Of course that assumes those spots aren't rusted out. Can take pictures if needed. It was for my 67S Targa, which I no longer have. It worked great.
