Well...here's a plan...early Sat morning : Crystal-Cove...,breakfast (i.e Cofee & Corn-Beef Hash)...then (i.e crash) over to PCA-GPX's arrangement to visit the new Saleen production facility (S7's and Mustang performance group) in Irvine ~11:30Am....then quick trip down to Coronado Island for some late after-noon Pit-Action and BS'ing around the Vintage machinery...get a room and go for a nice dinner....up early, more Corn-Beef and back to the track...How'bout them apples?...eh?.../ Lars...

P.S..Eade..it was Saturday....because we all had the nice Mexican dinner in Encinitas after the drive...and...breakfast at the "something-Station" before I went back to the track Sunday morning....You brought the GTX....D.S.

    Hey guys,
Here is what PCA is doing.
    http://www.pcasdr.org/img/2006/calen...l/Coronado.pdf

The Saturday lunch is sold out.

There are now two ways to get the corral/pit parking passes for your Porsches.

    1. If you are going just on Sunday and go to the 94 Aero PCA Brunch and rx a corral pass.

    2. If you are not going to that Brunch and are going on Saturday or Sunday this is what you have to do. You will need to park in genral parking and go to the "Race Entry Gate" get your entry ticket, walk in to the Corral area to the Porsche Hostitality Tent and pick up your Corral pass there. Then go back out to your car and drive it into the Corral Parking for Porsches.
For as long as corral passes last.

I plan to attend both days.
Although Saturday eve is the the La Mesa Octoberfest, so I'll skip the brunch.
    Best,
    Mike

10M GTO was the most expensive....
But the 1935 Alfa Grand Prix F1 (2 to 3 M) guys say itho the GTO is not really a vintage car.

Some photos and videos have been posted from the Coronado Speed Festival. One video was the race between the red Porsche and yellow Corvette. Here is a direct link to the web page:
