Wow, talk about an old thread. Thanks Ryan for reminding me about how long ago I found that tub.
It is at the back of the que, and yes it will be lilac. Parts are being accumulated as they come across the radar.

Was being repainted original colour but was changed during restoration to Gemini Blue, shame.

One that got away.

Arranged for a well known UK Porsche 'expert' to inspect it on my behalf. He took the job even though he had already been asked to look at it for someone else. That should have been my first warning.

Told me the car was no good, run away run away etc. It was sold the next day.

Spooky : I eventually found another targa - a 73E that had been updated to 930 body work. It is now back to original body style with the paint only being finished last week. I'm heading out on the weekend to see it for the first time. Royal purple!
