    Yeah, it is hard to imagine bidding not knowing that vital piece of information. Many brave souls did though if they are real bidders.

    The link that Thorsten posted to the Safari 911 leads to an interesting dealer in Germany that I had not seen before. Low and behold, look what car is listed there as sold.

    Unfortunately they don't list the chassis # either. Maybe someone who knows German can write them and ask for that info. Curiosity is killing me.

    Brian, the plot thickens! I'm sorry, but who in their right mind would EVER list a RS for sale, ant NOT post the (most important part) the VIN number? C'mon, that's just not kosher...
