    Targa top refurbish?

Any recomendations on who does the best Targa tops. Either send mine, or buy outright. I hope someone can recommend someone, they have had good experience with.

    Thanks,

Here is a link on Pelican which he started regarding targa tops. He is suppossed to be good- and pricey.

I also recall reading somewhere here that Tony at Autobahn Interiors restores targa tops.

Dan restored the top on my 82 Targa...great work, fast & efficient, excellent care with shipping. Top still looks new after 3 years. I would not hesitate to use Dan's services again. Give him a call

Dave Brown, in Boulder Colorado. All he does are tops, many sent to him as far as Europe. He rebuilds them from the inside out, completely takes them apart, every piece. Most others try to redo them from the outside in, and do not take the tops completely apart. He built a jig to put them back together, they are a work of art. He does all the work himself. 303-499-0110

    Stephen,

I have yet to get mine done but Dan has been giving me advice to keep my old top in service for a few years now. Seems like a real stand-up kind of guy.

Whomever you choose, I would be interesed in hearing how it turned out. I figure I am about a year away from getting mine redone and while Dan is currently top of my list, I feel I would be remiss if I did not check the competition before I decide how to proceed.
