    current events

I already posted this as a follow up in Off-Topic..Chuck started that thread ....I think it needs to be up here....

Its been pointed out to me that I have been out of touch with the Pac-West.

Read this article, when you think you have problems...Can't get those sport seats, why won't my MFI idle correctly, jumpy tach..why won't people cancel a room reservation...etc..etc.

My heart goes out to the PacWest folks. We experienced a similar fate in mid October up here near Buffalo, NY. Many dead from carbon monoxide, but geez, these folks were running gas generators inside their homes. Sometimes it bewilders me that people aren't educated enough in life to realize ya can't run a gas powered anything INSIDE your home. Power was lost to the entire area for over 5 days with 2 feet of heavy wet snow and 80% of our mature trees lost...yuk.

Bottom line...it could always be worse right?

Sounds similar to when Hurricane Wilma hit south florida last year.
Many people were getting sick and quite a few died from running
    their generators inappropriately.

    Sad to hear.

Paul, that is the point I was making. People do what ever means necessary to survive the moment, the crisis.

When you realize you THINK you have problems, take a look around you, ground yourself.

Ray, thanks for thinking of us.

I believe there are still a few PacWest guys without power, but we are all safe and well.

It's times like these when you realize how important friendship is and how closely it is tied to your R Gruppe buddies.
