    Calling all Torq Thrust experts....

I have a lead on a set of four 15x5.5 magnesium Torq Thrust D wheels dated 1965. They need restoration but are useable as is with some dings and scratches. What is the going rate for a set of wheels like this? He is asking $6,000.

My educated guess would be the same as factory 7R - I'm running that offset all round on my 73 with just rolled guards and an oil line diversion in the rear wheelwell without any interference - 205's on the front and 225's on the rear.

Those look like the "late" 15 X 7 offset. I had a set of 15 X 7 Magnesium AR wheels and they were flat on the outside. By the way, I've had many sets of 15 X 6 Magnesium wheels but the 15 x 7S are the only set I have ever seen. It could be that I just wasn't paying attention, though.

    Regards
