Can anyone help me with identifying my AR Torq thrust wheels. Have read several threads and sites and was convinced I have American Racing Thorq Thrust aluminium wheel 15 inch 7j. However I brought mine wheels to a specialized shop to have them refurbished and they told me the wheels are Magnesium so they can't repair the 2 wheels which have some small curb damage. Can someone tell from these pictures if these are indeed magnesium wheels?Name: IMG_8894.jpg

Backside photo looks like mag to me. Have the tires dismounted and give them a weigh.

They look exactly the same as my aluminium torq thrusts - just a little corroded on the inside.

Yes that is probably the best way to get a final answer, thanks! Some how hoping they are aluminium so I can get the easily refurbished. If they are magnesium I might sell them. Difficult options I really like the looks of them instead of the fuchs wheels

My thought the same as Ralph. I have two sets of aluminum AR TTS and the backside look identical to carbits’ wheels. Happy to weigh one of my wheels so you can compare them and determine if yours are magnesium or aluminum.

got a tire off and I got 8.8kg with the valve. If I understand your post right you had an aluminium wheel of 8.7kg so it looks like mine are aluminium as well.
