Rebuild or replace electric window lift

One of my stock motors is slower than slow. This is after copious greasing and making sure nothing is binding. Can it be rebuilt and if so by whom? If not can a 74-89 motor replace it?

    Thanks

Yes, a later motor will work but the lift arm must also be replaced with the later style. You might try spraying the window channels (the felt) with silicone. You may then find that the motor runs faster.

Rick, have you opened the electric motor yet?
