    Dash clock for a 1970 911 S

Trying to locate a dash clock (period correct) for my 1970 911 S.

Issue here is that someone (not using their head) replaced the clock with a later period clock (probably 84-89) and the white lines inside the clock are bright white (as oppossed to off white) and the clock lights up brighter than the rest of my gauges. I hate that.

If anyone has thoughts on how I can dim the light, I would try that, but prefer the correct clock.

    Thanks,

    John

You may just want to try to replace all the bulbs in your older gauges. There is a good chance that they are dimmer due to age. This is some thing that you can try and you could probably benefit from regardless of what clock you end up using.
