? about RS "style" 380mm st wheel

HNY to all......I still lurk here.......

I am looking again for a 380mm st wheel......from a 914/6 or whatever. I had one on a T and sold it when I sold the car...and felt it was perfect for a hot rod feel.
What would you say is a fair price to pay for a used one?.....I realize its worth what market bears.....but an idea?.....tia!

Real ones have been going through the roof. I've seen them for over $800 lately. This is for the real 914-6/RS wheel, not the regular 914 wheel.

It's still possible to buy leather-rimmed 914/6 wheels (as fitted to '73 RS models) for sensible money - I bought one in very good (but filthy) condition last week for ~$75...

    Wink pictures?

Could you post a photograph of the 914/6 wheel for reference?
I've bought one in the past which has a moulded plastic hub missing from the normal 911 wheel but I don't know what it is exactly. Thanks!

    Thanks

Thanks, I must then have the regular 914 steering wheel, as it has plastic moulding around the base...

Milou - see also this old thread on the subject:

    - I posted a selection of photos outlining some of the differences between the 914/4 & 914/6 wheels.

This is what I have observed within the last year:
core wheels - no hub $100-200
    hub - $250-350
    rewrap - $300-350
    complete reconditioned wheels - $1300
Of course there are those that are very resourceful and could put together for the same price as a prototipo.
