    Optioncodes for 1969-73

    I have found lists of the official option codes and what equipment they refer to for SWB and post 74 car. I have yet to find the list that cover options for the LWB cars 69-73. Examples:

    258 = Headrest left and right
    402 = Koni shock absorbers front with Brake "S", Koni shock absorbers rear
    410 = Sport seat drivers side
    425 = Rear wiper
    427 = Rear embellisher under bumper
    549 = 3-point belts front

    and also:

    432 = yellow high beam lights over the bumper

    Can anyone help me with a list?

    Hello John,

    Did you take a look at the "Porsche 911 Red Book" by Patrick C. Paternie. You might be helped with pg's 22-23 (ed 2000) untill 1969 and pg 38-39 untill 1973.
    Hope this helps,

    #9898

    Hi John.
    One optioncode that has given me a lot of trouble to find out is #9898. Have not found it refered to anywhere on the Internet. I finally found it in the factory workshop manual. Ref: volum 2, B 104.
    #9898: Optional colors to order
    Red Book is not mentioning this number but has instead #9400: Special paint.

    In my head this is confusing

    Does it mean the same? Hope some of the experts can tell.

    Regards,
    Radmund
