    My father in law has a 54 new yorker, and was invited to the event. All the invited cars were inside the convention center, there was an original owner 62 B Cab there he was telling me about. He said the car show was amazing, the quality of the cars there was as good as any event he has ever been to.

    Perhaps they should have chosen an Amphicar instead?

    A funeral director once told me those fancy concrete "vaults" they try to upsell you on do nothing to keep the elements out over time. They only keep the ground above from sinking in. Guess he was right.

    Think of it this way... when will you ever see another '57 Belvedere that has been underwater for 50 years??!! And it sure is better off than this Mercedes!!

    I Once Looked at an Early S that looked this bad...

    It was in Oregon, he wanted $4500 for it and the fenders were lace... Took one look around and said thanks, no thanks..
