Thumbs up Just want to BRAG!!!!!!!!

Goodmorning everyone. I recieved an email from John Gorriup this morning and it trully made my day. As you may know, I work very hard and strive to please my customers. Not only is it my goal to always deliver the highest quality possible but I also try to make my customers understand that I really am appreciative of their business. It feels good to know when I am doing my job. So, thanks John!

Email to Tony at Autobahn Interiors:

"You did a wonderful job on the seats. The end result greatly exceeded my expectations. The pick of materials is perfect, especially the houndstooth, the craftmanship superb, the styling in trying to make them look like early sportseats came out spot-on, and they are very comfortable. Your price was very reasonable for the very high quality of work and most importantly,...it's been a pleasure doing business with you. Thanks again!" -John Z. Goriup

Check out the photo of his seat. Also, we have added a couple more pictures to our website portfolio page if you want to check them out.

    Excellent work indeed.

But for those of us who do not have a sport seat to restore, why doesn;t someone make an exact reproduction. I have seen GTS, but I either missed it or they only make a seat that's somewhat like the original. Am I wrong on this?

Isn't the pic above a GTS seat?

John can speak to the details, but these are period aftermarket Recaros done up as sport seats. Model CT's if I recall correctly. Many people find these more comfortable than the real factory sport seats. John wanted the bit of extra room and especially the extendable leg support - note the 'pullout' adjuster bar at the bottom of the front. Tony did his magic, reshaping the bolsters etc. to get the best of both worlds. Seats can be hot rodded too!
