    Another Grill Light Question

I bought this set of through the grill driving lights the other day and am debating whether to keep them or just get some of the hood lights I'm hankering for..

They are far from NOS but an everyday useable set. I noticed in pulling them apart there are two different types of reflector....Is one correct and one incorrect?

Anyone out there with some good hood lights that might like a swap with possible cash difference?

    Cheers

    Hi Cam,

THey are both technically correct. The first one you showed is just a newer version. Hella went to the stamped bulb socket versus the cast as a cost savings. I wouldn't sweat it. Ok, I just lied. I would be trying to match one or the other. The lenses are the tough nut. The reflectors are the same for the driving lights and fogs (118) You don't necessarly have to find another set of driving lights. Find a set of fogs and switch the reflectors. You cant see the reflectors behind the fog lenses so it's easier to deal with than the driving lights.

    Cheers,
    Michael

    Nah Clyde,

Just think I really want some hood lights more than I really want some through the grill lights! I used to be indecisive but now I'm not sure!!

Am I the only one with this problem??!!
