    Backup switch question

I went to install a new backup light switch in my 915 transmission today. After removing the switch, I pulled out the actuating pin behind it to inspect and proceeded to drop it before I got the chance to note its orientation.

The pin necks down at one end and is slightly rounded. I think this is the end that goes into the trans first. The other end is full width and flush cut on the end. I think this is the end that goes into the switch.

Anybody here know off the top of their heads? Anybody have a 915 sitting on their garage floor who's not fumble-fingered and can check theirs for me?

    Thanks,

The smaller ID end is toward the switch.
