Maybe it is the bag for a travel kit ? See my other thread about travel kit.
    Thank in advance.

Recently, I bought two bags w. similar top opening on Ebay.

They are square and a little bigger (10inx10in/30cmx30cm)
-black skai bag with Porsche sign embroided on it. (67/69 ?)
-black skai bag with white Porsche sign printed on it, padded inside (70/73 ?)

I read once these have been bags for documents/maps when pick up at factory and/or export the cars to the US/outside Germany-not shure on that.
    Anybody can confirm ?

Your bag seems to have had inside a fan belt or warning triangle for some time...

Karim your expl. makes sense. I have two of those bags. Both from Euro/tourist delivery cars, the old road maps from Germany (1960's) are still in there.

My '73 S/R coupe has this bag - holds jack and tool kit, and seems to fit nicely in the smuggler's box.
