    Colour Code Tag question

    Hi
My search revealed no previous thread on this.
I understood that the colour code tags were riveted onto the body of the car. Certainly is on my 69. However, on my 70 car it is a thin metal plate which is stuck onto the same place - no rivets or holes.
Porsche have confirmed it's the correct colour etc (Conda).
    Is this normal ?
    thanks, Paul

ps when searching, i came back across Kermit's story - what a great thread that is !

    paint tag

I have a '70 Italian S with stick on metal plate - I think it is black with silver letters, but will need to look. It is stuck on, no rivets.

All tags were attached with SS speed rivits. The stick-on's are aftermarket.
