Thread: Plastic window question

    Plastic window question

Has anyone ever used plastic windows with the standard winder mechanism? Any issues?

Most I've seen use the leather pull straps.

I have plastic windows in my cpé.
And i use them with the standard electrical winders.

But they somtimes do not fully close.
The plastic window is straight and when the window goes up is does not always get in the upper door frame at the first try.
Just lower it a very little and try again seems to work.

    Plastic Windows

We have used 'Thermo-formed' windows that have the same curvature as standard glass and they fit the runners quite well and are better than flat plastic.
