Wow, $313,500 for a green 1973.5 911T Targa, that needs work(not running).

Once a car has been torn apart and put back together it´s not becoming an original car again.

Correcting post resto errors or re-restoring cars is a huge part of the industry but reaching "all" the way is not possible, harshly put.

Those of you who know (and I know there are plenty of you on here) the amount of work that goes into the somewhat over seen part of getting the right feel, throttle/shifter linkage adjustments, the doors to closing nicely, lining up horn grills with hood, bumpers etc. Getting carpets correctly installed and not to mention seats that give correct support (not just looks), the list of details that must be spot on is loooong and it takes real life worksmanship experience to get anywhere near Porsche standards.

On the flipside building a hot rod might be just as rewarding as owning an all original but many enthusiasts compare apples with oranges.
