Not yet 2 years, and over 2400 posts.... definitely the strong "silent" type right?

I started truly "acquiring" back in 1985....though I had a very brief ownership in the 70's.

    "Third time's the charm"

Although it was preceded by a '64 356 coupe and an '87 930 coupe, I enjoy the '72 coupe the most! It's only been 2years, but I've already logged nearly 8K miles!

Silence is not one of my strong suits...hopefully I have added some value in between my vacuous ravings.

Since I was 15. Now 35. I bought my first car which was a 914 which I've had about 4 914's. One I turned into a 914/6. A 911SC I owned twice, RS America I had for about 3 1/2 years and now I have a 72S I'm restoring, silver, non sunroof, LSD, Recaro's, it was the 23rd one made. Originally owned by Walter Cunningham the NASA Apollo seven Astronaut and a RS Replica that's probably going to get a 3.6 and a G50 shoved into it. It's a sickness that's for sure.

You guys are old ! Most of you have had your cars longer than I've been around

I bought the 70E with all my own money (every last dime) on my 18th b-day. Also, my car serial # is 0587, which happens to be the month and year I was born. I'm not superstitious, but that's getting out there in terms of coincidence.

    rock on...

It will be four years this May. To celebrate the E will return to its origins with some fresh Viper Green paint, a new door jamb panel and a "De-whale-tailing" Service...Anyone need a '75 Turbo Tail?

Bought my first Porsche 17 years ago while in college. A white '72 914-4. Five Porsches later, and I am now building Millie to my own specs. I plan on keeping her for years to come.
    Elvis has left the building.

I built MY first Porsche when I was 15. Now I'm 26 and I'm almost finished restoring my second one. (That's 11 years for the mathematically-challenged)

My dad told me just today that when I was six(teen?) weeks old he took me to the shop and had me sitting on the workbench in my bassonet while he was building motors and trannys.

    It's a way of life...
