Thread: Streets of Willow April 17...CONFIRMED

Ray, Tony and Marco - thanks for a great time. I know I'm a little late in responding to this thread, but I just joined the Early S Registry today.

This was my first time driving SOW, though I've been on WSR a few times before. Everyone whose been on SOW said I should try it with my car, and that I'd have a blast doing so; and they were right. You guys made it all the more enjoyable.

Thanks to Marco for the in-car instructing/shouting/abundant use of profanities. My apologies to the Miniskirt I scared nearly to a stop between turns 5 and 6 going CCW.

BTW: it's my yellow 911 that Stephen RX7's is behind in "Following a yellow 911" until he passes me after the skid pad.

Dan and Stephen thanks for posting the videos.
This won't come as a surprise, but listening to my car rowing through the gears was my favorite part.

Dan you did well trying to drive your own line while following a lead car that was mostly off line.
When I get in traffic at a DE/TT I try to do the same, look through the lead car and drive my own line regardless of the lead car's line.
It can be challenge trying to drive the correct line when the car in front of you is never on line.
    Sent you a pm too.

Stephen's video is actually in high def so it is really sharp on a lap top.
Some of us were watching it at Tony's Deli during the lunch break.
Too bad the high def is lost on the net.
In a couple years we'll all have high def in car cameras and a HD host on the net too.

Cool videos...did anyone happen to catch my M coupe on video. I wanted to see how it was handling...

    Thanks
