    '74 RS 3.0 Carrera

This from our friend David Mohlman...

I received it 6 days ago ... hope it's still available

All questions go to David ....No affiliation.

    FOR SALE:
    1974 RS 3.0L Carrera VIN. #9114609028
Extremely rare (one of fifty nine) These cars were utilized in the homologation process for the 1974 RSR. They were produced for street use but many were modified for GT racing due to it’s close resemblance to the pure race bred RSR. These street legal user friendly street cars are fabulous for racing, tours, shows, etc and very rarely are available for sale. Car is in excellent condition and has been completely serviced and ready for driving.

Car is in my home in Carmel, California. Any questions or further interest please contact me via email or phone (305.582.9723). Partial Porsche trades are considered.

    PRICE: $425,000.00

Awesome car, never seemed like these had a strong following. Aaron at flatsix had one of these a while ago seemed cheap.

    Coooool.

It's a 74 Carrera on hydroxycut, HGH and steroids.

PS: I like the hood prop.

Yeah......I think I was down to $225K at some point.......Starkey ended up getting $250K for it soon after.

I kept telling people it was a good deal.......oh well.

BTW: The RS 3.0L is one of the coolest 911s ever made......most of the RSR parts and you can drive it to work.......

Interesting shot of the AL VIN tag showing a stamped 'RS' next to the raised 'G' letter for body type.

Yeah I had the same discussion with a good friend about that RS at Aaron's place. We both said that was a bargin price, but we never acted on it though.
