    1973 2.4S Porsche video

I have to be honest & say I'm pretty lucky to live where I do ( North Yorkshire, UK ). I have stunning countryside on my door step which also means stunning roads too

One which people always talk about is the Buttertubs roads. TBH it is not my favorite in the area, but its not bad

So here is a quick video of me in my 2.4S travelling South/North on the Buttertubs road. This road is pretty bumpy with plenty of dips, so it appears I'm travelling slower than I am

you might notice the very 'metalic' sound to my exhaust ... my baffles are not doing their job

BTW, the 'buttertubs' are near the end

    nice

just a guess as sound is a bit tough from video but it sounds as though you might need a valve adjustment.

    Whoa!

That must have been quite frightening, driving on the wrong side of the road around all those blind curves

the metallic rattling etc is all from the rear muffler ... its a stainless unit that has had the baffles blown from some over zealous backfires My fuel cut off solonoid isn't working. After a particularly bad back firre on teh way back from Lemans it sounded like there were pieces of metal rattling around inside the muffler

Car had a full service about 500 miles ago although the MFI needs a bit of a tune up

Nice trip, indeed James. Do I hear some frightened kids in the background? Was the camera mounted or does a brave passenger (or the even braver kids) held it?
I love these british back roads.
    cheers
