FS: Gulf Porsche 917K Clone with Flat-6 RSR Power...surprisingly tasteful.

This car is located in Ohio. Does anyone know the car or the builder?

Seems fairly close to the original proportions, and much much better than the usual brutal Lazer copies....starting bid is $100k. I guess that is better than $4M for the real deal.

That may be the Kraftwerks replica LMK 917-003 that sold in 2006 at the Barrett Jackson auction for around $180,000US. Or it could be another one-- there have been quite a few built in Australia by Andrew and Zac Keiller. One was purportedly sold in Germany for $550,000 Euros, which I find incredible, as when I first contacted Andrew about them years ago, he would build a complete roller for about $60,000US. With shipping and an engine like the one in that car, $100K would be about right.
