Thread: How many types of 15x6 Fuchs are there?

    I've owned a couple wheels like that as well. First deep sixes were made from wheels that were going to be 5 1/2's.

    Phil, Further evidence to support that can be found in the weight of the wheels. A normal 5.5 weighs less than a deep 6. If what you say is true, that the 5.5's blank was used to make a 6, those .04 deep 6s would weigh the same as a 5.5.

    One of my 911R 7s weighs less than several of my deep 6s.

    Just found this thread about the different deep sixes,
    and I believe I have one of the mysterious .04 deep sixes, which was matched with a normal .06 deep six on my car.They are dimensionally identical, but I haven't weighed them yet, I will when I get the tyres off.
