OK, we're trying to get a head count for the DRIVE and LUNCH. Roger Grago has mapped out the drive, and we're on for lunch/early dinner at the Rose Canyon Cantina - should be a GREAT DAY! IF you're planning on joining us, please let Ray or me know asap!

    leaving time

Todays Cars and Coffee was the biggest turnout of Porsches I saw in a long time. Photos coming

    Tomorrow should be even bigger.

We are still planning on arriving at Dennys between 7 and 7:30...You really do not want to miss tomorrow.

    Early Start

The Dana Point Car Show actually started for many at Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning. See the thread.

However a few of us went out Saturday night to a really nice wine tasting gathering. Jeff Trask was one of the organizers and did a great job. Thanks to Longboard Winery for ALL the red and white wine. REALLY good wine.

The silver 356 with a 3.2 (I believe) was DRIVEN from Pennsylvania for the SHow.

    Sunday Morning

NOT like the Parade in SD, where the 356's were forced to park on a dusty road (many were open topped) this was their day. NOT like the Parade were the 1965-1973 900 Series cars (912 and 911) seemed to be forgotten, this was their day

    more shots of the crowd

The weather actually was perfect for a show. A great park for the Concours over looking the Harbor. Lots of friendly owners, and a fun crowd.

    afterwards

As promised, after the Concours we went on a drive and lunch at Rosa's Cantina.

Thanks to Roger G. for again coming up with a great scenic drive to the restaurant. After all this parking lot, wine tasting, parking on the lawn, it was time for a drive.

It really was a great weekend.

The ONLY bummer of the weekend for me was not being able to see our friend Johnny Rizz and his band play. I have seen them in his garage and now in bars/clubs. Just not enough hours in the day...Next time, JR, we'll be there.
