    Le Mans Clock/signal lights

Can anyone explain the signal lights, colors, and how they work in the race...

The pit lane signal lights were added in 1971, enabling drivers to exit the pit lane safely. A red light will show if all three safety cars are on track. The new signals accompanied the installation of the separation wall (the pits this year had taken on a different look, for the long-needed armco barrier had been erected to form a wide pit road, no doubt with the money from the Steve McQueen film) between the pit lane and the pit straight. Since then, drivers have been required to wait for the green light before joining the track.

The Dutray watches shop still exists today:

I wonder where the clock used during the shooting has ended.

Thanks Karl, any ideas on the color(s) of the other 3 lights?
