    Lubricating turn signal switch

I have been having some intermitant turn signal issues and after looking everywhere else for the problem, i spayed some contact cleaner into the switch because it looked pretty gunked up. The issue improved so i decided to take off the wheel and give the whole area a good cleaning.

Everything is clean and the switch seems to be in good shape, but the action is pretty stiff since i washed away any grease that was left. I have tried to get di-electric grease into all of the nooks and crannies but the lever action still feels like metal on metal.

Has anyone done this before and have some advice for really getting the grease in there? I have tried moving the switch some to work the lubricant in, but it doesnt get any better.

Dry silicone spray did the trick.
