    73E 4.jpg

    Auction Description:

This beautifully presented 911 is offered in the very desirable colour combination of black on black with Recaro sports seats. The car benefitted from a complete concours standard restoration in 1988 with £30,000 spent in work. Since then the car has been with the current vendor and has been sympathetically maintained by marque specialists. Recent work has been carried out to ensure the engine is tuned and sealed correctly, chrome trims replaced and the car generally overhauled. The car feels tight on the road with the engine pulling smoothly and progressively on the pristine Fuchs wheels. In overall good condition and only requiring minor detailing to bring back to concours condition, this car presents an excellent chance to own one of the best Porsche’s of the 1970’s. An extensive history file with various invoices, a current MOT and UK V5C registration all come with the car.

    Dealer's Description:

Matching numbers and colors per Certificate of Authenticity. This is exactly how you want to buy a classic car with records going back to the original sales invoice in 1973. It shows a massive commitment by the past owners to properly service and maintain the car. There is no rust present anywhere nor is there evidence of accident or rust repair. Current invoices show a rebuilt engine, fuel injection pump and throttle bodies as well as other details. The body of this car was refinished in its original shade of Bahia Red to a very high standard along with the expertly refinished wheels. Since we acquired this 911, we have addressed many little issues to make sure it is ready for trouble free driving. This car is unusually fast and easy to drive, not as “peaky” as a 911S but more power than the 911T of the same year. We are very fortunate to have this car at our shop.
