Lars, I happen to like sunroofs, myself... BUT. It's like buying a house with a bedroom extension added without permits. You can enjoy it, but a.) it adds no value, and b.) there are circumstances where you may have to remove it.

The factory sunroof (Golde) is electric and is installed before painting, so the paint fade characteristics are the same as the rest of the car... and there are 4 drains to take the water away - 2 in the a-pillars and 2 in the c-pillars. These things cannot be done in a dealer-installed roof.

Worse than that Bill; like adding a third breast.

but the negatives in your example still apply.

What would appear to be the same car, asking the same price, showed up on Denver Craigslist on Saturday, stating location Littleton, CO. I emailed and go immediate reply. I asked to see the car on Sunday, and no more responses. Craigslist ad is now gone. Has to be a scam of some sort.

EDIT: Gaaaaak. This is referent to the maroon 70T with cream interior discussed 3 pages earlier.

This same car showed up on Craigslist here in Denver two weeks ago and then disappeared within two days. Someone needs attention.

Actually you were referring to my 1972 Sepia Brown coupe that I posted and kept getting flagged for some reason. The above car is a poor comparison to mine...
