This 1973.5 Porsche 911T was purchased by it's second owner on September 24,1974 at Don Corlett Porsche/Audi in Louisville, Kentucky. It remained under his ownership until April of 2015. Throughout the years this vehicle was meticulously maintained as shown by it's extensive service records. Since 1974 it has received two complete engine rebuilds, the most recent of which was completed on April 18, 1988 at 111,637 miles by Stein Automotive in Louisville, Kentucky. This 911's beautiful paint is compliments of a complete re-finish on May 27, 1997 by Precision Body Shop of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. I have over $25,000 in service receipts dating from August 1st, 1975 to present. Most recently the car received a mechanical tune-up (fluids, belts, filters) and 60 hour cosmetic refresh (color-sand & hand-polish) compliments of Carolina Coach Crafters in Mooresville, NC. This car starts up every time and is an absolute joy to drive. It is one of the tightest, best running examples of an early 911 I have ever experienced. Make no mistake, this car is not perfect, but it is absolutely turn-key ready to be driven and enjoyed as Dr. Porsche intended. 1973 was the first year that US 911Ts were switched to the new K-Jetronic CIS (Continuous Fuel Injection) system from Bosch and this car is a great example of its benefits. This 911's 2.4l has great power throughout the rev range and shifts fantastically with outright precision. This car still sports all of its original equipment, never being modified in over 42 years of life. To fully comprehend how great this car is you absolutely have to drive it and I welcome anyone with the means to do so. The car is located in Mooresville, NC - about 20 miles north of Charlotte. I am happy to take photos of anything a prospective buyer may request.

Auction Description:
This matching numbers example is described as being in excellent condition throughout and finished in the desirable colour of blood orange (6809) with a contrasting black interior.
The car was subject to a restoration in 2013; during the restoration, the owner informs us that the carburettors were revised and the engine disassembled, with gaskets replaced. The damper springs and brake pipes were all replaced. During the restoration, the electrical system was renewed, as well as all rubber items and gaskets; the owner informs us that the black interior is new.
All materials used are genuine Porsche K-Leder. A fine example of a highly desirable motor car, and with values ever increasing, now is the time to buy one of Zuffenhausen's finest.

Auction Description:
Registered in June 1969 as a Swedish specification, Karmann-bodied car, this lovely early non-sunroof 911T was delivered in the rare shade of Polo Red (only offered between 1969 and 1971) with a black interior.
Showing now 108,000 kms from new (the odometer was replaced at 95,000 kms, the new one reading 15,000 kms), the car covered a mere 3000 kms between 1984 and 1991.
In addition to extensive service history from its previous Swedish owner, during 2014 the body was taken back to bare metal, carefully restored, painted and reassembled using mostly original panels. According to the vendor the 2 litre flat 6 engine, fitted with twin weber carburettors, is said to be in very good condition, showing even compression readings on all cylinders. The transmission has been upgraded to the 901 five speed gearbox, which has been fully overhauled, and mated to a new clutch.
Chassis 119123097 is offered with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, all books and manuals, also its original tool kit. A great buy for the Porsche enthusiast seeking a pretty yet highly useable early 911.

Auction Description
Delivered new in 1515-G Irish Green, this matching numbers 1970 2.2 Karmann is an excellent example of the sought after 911 T which was first registered in 1970, and was optioned with US Equipment and a tinted windscreen.
The history file goes back to the 1980s, when extensive work was carried out by the previous owner on the car. We are advised receipts of this are available in the cars file. Most recently, after being repatriated to the UK, the car has received its second restoration by a marque specialist; work included new floors, with a bear metal paint respray. The interior upholstery was renewed (the original door pockets were retained), and still remains in excellent condition.
Mechanically, the brakes and hoses were renewed and the car received light engine work. Mechanically, we are advised the car performs excellently. It has been fitted with 15 inch Fuchs wheels and new tyres - as one would expect, it runs and drives very well.
The car is equipped with the original jack, owner's manual and spare tyre, as well as a detailed history file and Certificate of Authenticity. In excellent all round order, this is the perfect car for the budding Porsche collector - to be used and enjoyed.

Auction Description:
This 1970 example is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche showing factory 911S upgrades and includes optional equipment including 911S instruments, 911S oil tank, steering wheel with raised hub, antenna left, loudspeaker and noise suppression, comfort equipment and chrome wheel disks.
Finished in Bahia Red, with a contrasting black interior; this fine example is reported to be in good condition throughout and is supplied with a detailed service history and invoices that show the interior recently being refreshed along with other sympathetic work carried out over the years in California.
The car has its NOVA certificate and is currently MoT'd in the UK and ready to be registered to its first UK owner. Showing only 38,277 miles, this is a wonderful example of the classic 911 and this 2.2-litre T embodies all that is desirable about early Porsches which continue to grow in popularity among collectors, prized for the purity of their driving experience as much as for their iconic shape.

Auction Description:
In 1967, the 911T (Touring) was introduced as a new base model, initially with the 2.0 litre engine in 110bhp form, before gaining the 2.2 litre unit, along with the rest of the range in 1969, by which time the 911's wheelbase had been extended by 57mm. Such was the 911's success that within a few years, Porsche was selling cars faster than it could build them, a state of affairs that led to a substantial proportion being manufactured by coachbuilder Karmann at its Osnabrück factory.
One of only 683 Karmann-built 911T coupés produced in the last year of the short (2,211mm) wheelbase chassis, this matching numbers example has been beautifully restored. Leaving the factory on 21st September 1968, it was supplied with a lengthy options list: bumperettes (front/rear), roof ski rack with eight leather straps, engine noise suppression, loudspeaker in dashboard, Blaupunkt radio and Michelin tyres. The car was sold by its original owner to the second owner in 1989; in 1996 the owner decided to give the car to his 16 year old son. The original tangerine paint was stripped at this time, and the car painted red. The engine was removed and completely rebuilt by German Auto Tech in Pomona. Once the car was ready, the owner decided his son was not ready to own a red 911. The car went into the garage and it stayed there untouched until it was repatriated to the UK in the early part of this year.
Before the car was shipped from the UK, the carburettors were overhauled, along with a new clutch, new brakes and brake lines, new spark plugs, alternator and Yokohama tyres. The wheel bearings were re-packed, the heat exchangers and exhaust have been replaced, valves adjusted, and engine oil and filter were changed. After all of the mechanical work and numerous drives for testing and sorting, they went through the cosmetic presentation. This involved installing new carpets, door panels, and new boot carpeting.
Immensely popular within the classic rallying fraternity, these early short-wheelbase 911s are rarely seen with such few owners from new.
This matching numbers Porsche 911 is overhauled and ready for road use. It is complete with a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche and receipts for the above-mentioned work.
The engine rebuild, which is documented and cost in excess of $8,000 (£5000.00), was done less than 500 miles ago. The undercarriage and all suspension attachment points are solid and without patches or rust.
