Bernie, may I ask how you arrived at your asking price?
Just so I understand: It sounds like you may be placing a premium on it because it's unrestored? If so, doesn't the color change offset that to a large degree?

Are you sure those who gave you compliments on the color didn't think it was a 911SC?

Did anyone see the sweet 69T coupe that sold at GR Auto Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI? Ossi Blue is such a great color and the car looked pretty nicely set up with 3.O power plant. The asking price was $52k. If the condition was as good as it looked, I think it was well bought. Did anybody here buy it?

Yes, I believe a member here bought the car and it's headed to the Philadelphia area. I'm sure the new owner will post all the details.

I'll be happy if the T market stabilizes around the low 6 numbers. None of us ever thought this would happen. Actually my son is more excited about these prices than I am. He seems to think this car will be his at some point. Then again the cost of senior living may be going up faster than long hood prices.

Hmm. Just found this thread (I hadn't been looking). The thread missed the yellow/black '69T numbers matching coupe I purchased on ebay (from a local seller) back in June. It needs considerable work (it's is off getting the front suspension pan and right side pan replaced right now), but I paid very little for it and so its value will easily bear the cost of a full restoration.
