    Auction Description:

Offered here is a beautifully restored, matching numbers Porsche 911T finished in its original colour of Light Yellow (6262) that was originally supplied in 1972 by Porsche AG to Hamburg in Germany. Optional equipment specified at the time included, 6x15 Fuchs wheels, front and rear roll bars, Porsche black script on the sides, a leather steering wheel and tinted windows. It came to the UK in 1982 and has had six previous keepers. In 2012 it was fully restored, and the history file contains the most comprehensive sequence of photos that we have ever seen of any restoration process. Fully dismantled, the body shell was prepared to a very high level, and as the restoration took place, every component was either replaced or refurbished and photographed prior to fitting up. Without doubt, it’s a must to visit the documents desk to have a ‘marvel’. It also contains a detailed account of the expenditure with QV500.com, with the total an eye watering £91,920. This lovely, evocative little Porsche is ready for the road and comes with an M0T till January 2016.

With the 911S now realising extraordinary sums, the 911T has started to look exceptional value, especially in this wonderful condition. They are also great to drive, with a torquey power delivery, all the tactility of an early Porsche and this one is finished in the best period colour.

    Auction Description:

    *Sold new in the USA
    *Matching chassis and engine numbers
    *Prepared for historic competition use
    *Fully documented from new

This 2.4-litre Porsche 911T was supplied new in February 1973 via Stoddard Imported Cars to one Emery Prior of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA. In 1977 Mr Prior asked Stoddard to carry out a conversion to bring the engine up to a capacity of 2.8 litres (2,808cc ) at a cost of $11,300. Mr Prior kept the car until 1993 and it remained in Chagrin Falls until it was exported to the UK in 2007. All of Stoddard's service receipts up to 2005 come with the car.

On arrival in the UK, the Porsche was despatched to Machtech Engineering where it was prepared for historic racing complete with roll cage, fuel cell and fire equipment, while the 2.8-litre engine was rebuilt. After only one event at Oulton Park in 2009, the car was retired until 2014 when it was returned to road/race configuration, including a full re-spray and re-trim. The aforementioned racing componentry was retained. Only some 2,000 miles have been covered since the engine rebuild and the car is described by the private vendor as in generally very good condition. All invoices dating back to 1973 are available and the car also comes with a V5C registration document and fresh MoT. This rust free, matching numbers 911 is ideal for events such as the Tour Auto, historic circuit racing or fast road use.

Bonhams has a few sketchy early 911s at this auction, this T being one of them and the price estimate reflects their condition.

    Auction Description:

    *Matching numbers example
*Presented in its factory delivered silver color
    *Reasonably priced driver example
*Extensive service records with over $20k recently spent

The 1971 911T 2.2 offered here was completed at Porsche for the 1971 model-year production run. The new Porsche was finished in a handsome silver over a black leatherette interior and char-coal carpets. Equipped for the US market, the T was optioned with the smart Fuchs alloy wheels fitted with Dunlop tires.

This 911T is offered in driver condition and has received much work in the last few years totaling well over $20k. The original interior presents nicely and the dash sports a vintage Blaupunkt radio. The engine was fully rebuilt recently and looks to have seen few miles since then.

The Porsche is offered with the original handbook and a stack of recent receipts. A desirable year, great color combination and being the recipient of much recent work, this Porsche is a good value example of a very hot car in the market today.

    Auction Description:

This 1973 911T Coupe, sporting Porsche's decidedly '70s Light Yellow paintwork is in very good condition throughout, including the striking Fuchs alloy wheels. Baring Porsche's '2.4' engine, this well-sorted coupe is mechanically sound and exemplifies Porsche's trademark performance and driving dynamics. Produced in the same year as the iconic and rare Carrera 2.7 RS, the 911T is a venerable sports car in its own right and offers an incredible comparative value and with its vibrant yellow paintwork, this solid 911 will undoubtedly be a head-turner in any situation.

    Auction Estimate: €45,000 - €50,000/~US$50,000 - $56,000
    Sold for: €33,000/~US$36,500

    Auction Description:

Registered in June 1969 as a Swedish specification, Karmann-bodied car, this lovely early non-sunroof 911T was delivered in the rare shade of Polo Red (only offered between 1969 and 1971) with a black interior.

Showing now 108,000 kms from new (the odometer was replaced at 95,000 kms, the new one reading 15,000 kms), the car covered a mere 3000 kms between 1984 and 1991.

In addition to extensive service history from its previous Swedish owner, during 2014 the body was taken back to bare metal, carefully restored, painted and reassembled using mostly original panels. According to the vendor the 2 litre flat 6 engine, fitted with twin weber carburettors, is said to be in very good condition, showing even compression readings on all cylinders. The transmission has been upgraded to the 901 five speed gearbox, which has been fully overhauled, and mated to a new clutch.

Chassis 119123097 is offered with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, all books and manuals, also its original tool kit. A great buy for the Porsche enthusiast seeking a pretty yet highly useable early 911.
