Cars and Coffee is all Porsche this Saturday!

With the Parade just ending in San Diego and the 356 Clubs Dana Point Concours on Sunday, July 8th, Freeman Thomas is inviting all Porsche's to show up for special parking at Cars and Coffee at Ford's Premier Group headquarters this coming Saturday.

Special sections will be set out for all Porsche models from 356's to Cayenne's! Parking opens at 6:30 and the event usually breaks up by 9:00 am. Breakfast and coffee is available on site and you are encouraged to arrive on time as parking can fill up. Here's a map of the area: http://www.autoworksphoto.com/galler...23553062/Large

So drag your back side outta bed early, dust that Porsche off and give it a blast down/up to the Irvine Spectrum and represent! You'll get an eye full and more of Porsche's and have some fun with some friends. You will not regret the morning!

If you can come by before 0600 hrs, the organizers are looking for volunteeers to help out with sign placement and parking.

This is our chance to give back to them. Its been quite some time since we were asked to help out. We had many people show up, lets see if we can get more. Get there early and park in a PRIMO spot. Help out for a few minutes, then enjoy the day and the rest of the weekend.

    See you there

    biggest turnout yet???

Saturdays Cars and Coffee did live up to and surpass the hype.

People were saying how big it was going to be, many Parade holdovers were going to be there. Many 356 registry Concours cars would be there...It was all over the internet BB's. However, no one really knew.

I arrived about 6 a.m., one hour earlier than the usual start time. The parking lot was already starting to fill. Porsche did have the Marque Parking, lots of it.
It was still not enough. There really were soo many cars, not just Porsches.

Thanks to Freeman, Tom S., and the other organizers for the day, and thanks to Jeff T, Kent M., Tom K. and the other volunteers with the parking detail.

THe first photos wil show not just Porsches were there. Here is Chip Foose with 2 of his latest.
