    Will 6x15 with 4" backspace fit a 69?

    hi all

i'm looking at some (quite cool looking) period aftermarket wheels as possible spares for my (stock bodied) 69E. the wheels are 5x130 PCD, 6 x 15 and have a 4" backspace.

by my calcs, the outer edge of the wheel will be 3/4" (20mm) further outwards compared to a 15x6 fuch (4 3/4 b/s)

i don't have access to my car to measure at present, anyone care to take a guess as to whether they would fit? (assume 205/60 tyres)
    Cheers, Ryan

    Ryan-
Yes, if you can run a 7x15 with 205/60-15 tires on an early car (which many people have done, myself included), then they will fit. The 7x15 Fuchs w/ 23mm offset has the same backspacing as a 6x15, which puts the entire extra inch to the outboard side. You are going to add only 3/4 outboard, so you should have 1/4" to spare. See this chart (which is not entirely accurate concerning the actual measurements, but does show the inner and outer relationships of the various rims well).
