    Coffee Meet, 7-22-07 in L.A. sort of

    Coffee meets are pretty plentiful here in So. Cal. The OC version in Irvine every Sat. is hard to beat with lots of cars to ogle.

    I wouldn't ordinarily tout this upcoming L.A. area coffee meet as anything special other than some guys in the area getting acquainted and chewing the fat for a couple of hours, but for an interesting event later in the day.

    Starbucks in La Canada this Sunday morning, 7am. 1926 Verdugo Blvd. by the 2 Fwy., and just a hop, step and a jump to Angeles Crest if you're in the mood to scare yourself.

    As opposed to the global warming gathering in the morning, the other event is a Clean Air Car Show in South Pasadena, 11am - 6pm. featuring alternative fuel vehicles and free showings of "Who Killed the Electric Car" and "Inconvenient Truth" at the Rialto Theater.

    The people and the cars and of course the driving. A wonderful Sunday morning indeed. Thanks for organizing this Sherwood.

    Chuck, as usual, behind the camera, documenting the action, and of course making all the events he can. Driving from LA to Oakland Thursday for the Pixar event, then driving back yesterday to LA, then up this morning for the early coffee stop with the Lads, and another 100 miles over the Crest and back up Little T, and finally home for an afternoon of uploading photo's to document the past weeks automotive delights. P-car action at its best......
