It was a good reason to wake up early. I would have been up earlier to see the European GP, but the cable is out. Thanks to all for the early bird meet and to Chuck for documenting the morning.

A phone call from Chuck beat my alarm clock this morning. That's pathetic ...

It was nice to see everyone and I'm casting my vote right now to make this a monthly meeting of the minds.

Thanks, Sherwood, for getting the ball rolling...

    Had fun with you guys!

Thanks for posting the photos, Chuck. Man, you had a busy week! I slept great last night too. Either from getting up too early on a Sunday morning or enjoying the drive

It was great to check out some nice cars, catch up on car talk and then drive our cars as they were intended

I notice that my car runs better during the fun runs. My German uncle told me that he would take his BMW out for an "autobahn tuneup" once a month. His cars always lasted a long time.

This is the 3rd get together from Sherwood and I think once a month is just right. Thanks for organizing it, Sherwood.

    Until next time.

    Hi Guys,
Thanks for the interest in rising early... occasionally. I'm open to ideas for a different or even the same location in this part of so cal - a moving target you might say.

Next time, I could bring a Gunson CO meter and see how big we can increase the hole in the ozone layer.

PS: I'll see if Phil Specter's house is available.

I really don't think the meeting point needs to move ... yet.

It's got a bagel place, a Char-bucks, and it's a hop/skip/jump from the Crest so we can nosh, get hopped up on caffeine and then drive cool roads.
