Differences Between US and Euro TTG Fogs

Could someone please educate me about the differences between these fogs, please? Pictures of both examples would be great.

I've seen references that they are different, just can't find specific details.

    Thank you.

    JP,
As I remember from my 72/73 parts book: H-3 bulbs in the euro model and 35 watt incandesant (about the same size as brake light bulbs with only one filament) for the US. Nor sure about other years and not sure if the lens is different.

US TTG fogs are Hella TN4. They have a different lens then the Euro Hella 118. The trim ring also have a larger inner diameter to accommodate the slightly larger diameter lens of the 118. Reflectors are also different, the 118 having the H3 and the TN4 the tungsten bulb. Actually the only similarity is the overall appearance and the back housing.

First picture the lenses from left Euro 118, US TN4, and the TN1/TN2(not correct for Porsche, used for tractor backup light etc)

Second picture from left Euro 118 driving, euro 118 fog.(Both if porsche delivered should have a 5th rivet on the housing holding a spade on the inside of the housing)

    Last picture, US TN4

I know a little about these lights thanks to Michael, who do not work for Hella:-)
