    L.A. to Monterey Aug 16th / Thursday am

    A few of us are leaving the SFV Thursday am approx 5:30 so we can enjoy some interesting roads on the way to Carmel.
    There is a great free car show on Ocean Ave that day at the conclusion of the pebble beach concours rally. See a lot of the cars from sunday for the cost of some leg work (parking some blocks away)

    Dave, can you let us know where in Carmel this car show takes place? I will be going up on Thursday and would like to check it out. I would join your drive but Stay Puff will be staying home since I will have my 7 year old daughter and picking up my 10 year old son. Were makin this Historics a family event.
