    Color of the air compressor

    All factory compressors I have seen were silver.Mine is black,but to my knowlege has never been replaced.Anyone seen this color?

    I recall replacing a silver one with a factory rebuilt unit that was painted black in a 72E. Perhaps your unit was replaced under warranty by the dealer very early on. Just a thought.
