R Gruppe Bbq In Norcal: Good Food, People, Cars And Hookers

AUG 4th: John Gray, Norcal Assistant Chaptermeister, and Alex Lobodovsky, engineer extraordainaire, threw an R Gruppe BBQ lunch at their Missile Base shop, otherwise known as Mongo Motors, which is located in the western San Ramon hills. This site really was a NIKE missile facility in the cold war days, and was officially known as Rocky Ridge Site SF25.

We had a great turnout which made for an excellent way to spend a Sat with friends. However the hookers never showed up.

Many thanks to all those that attended! Extra thanks to Chef/Host Gray, Chef/Host Alex and Chef Goriup for their efforts and hospitality! Also thanks to Cris for keeping this band of misfits together!

Rich quickly gives up his struggle but is soon overwhelmed with guilt. Lee trying to lift his spirits back up. Chef/Host Alex (to the right of Rich) now wanting a brownie as well. Mongo (bearded gentleman in the backgound) telling his girlfriend not to bring brownies anymore. Note the tangerine car in the background...also awaiting the Missile Base restoration.

Cris very proud of himself for not eating the brownie but now a little grumpy. He lets Kent know. Kent is a good listener.

Rich (white RS clone), Ed (red targa), and Dane (white SC) leave when they find out there are no more brownies. Rich first shouts out something about God and Country. Ed says he has more brownie ingredients back home in Chico.
