    Wanna Go Fast?

Then join the Porsche Owners Club at Streets of Willow for a Drivers School on Sept. 8th, and Short Track event on Sept. 9th. Two full days of in-car driving instruction from So Cal's best instructors will take your driving to a new level. And the first time you sit in your passenger seat while your instructor pushes your car to its true limits will be a real eye-opener. Anyways, I look forward to seeing the usual suspects and some new faces. I'll be there on Sunday.

I'll be there if I can get the time, but there is no way I would ever let some DE yahoo drive MY car at speed! They can take me around in their car. Their rubber. Their brakes. Their engine. There is nothing to be gained by having someone show me how they can thrash my car. If this is the policy of the POC, maybe it's not for me.

Of course, I'd always enjoy having an instructor in my car, but riding not driving.

Hey, it's your car. No one's twisting your arm. It isn't a POC requirement. But please don't refer to any POC instructor as a DE yahoo. You won't find better trained, faster, safer group of Porsche racers anywhere. It's your learning curve. Go slow. Go fast. It's up to you.

Couldn't agree more with Sandy. The instructors are very experienced. Hardly a DE environment. It's good to be driven in your car so you get an understanding of what your car is capable of. I was truly humbled, then learned how to drive it the same way as my instructor. Still learning, and loving every minute of it. I'll see you there in Sept.

Sandy, I sent you a PM.

    Cheers

I'm good with it. I had a bad experience with a DE yahoo from another club and I will never let anyone else drive my car again. I'll find the limits, thank you. The DE can trash his/her car to show me how big their...

Where do I sign up again?
