Respray in blue - Porsche Baltic Blue

I plan on respraying my car later this year. The car is currently Ivory (i dont plan selling the car and want it in a colour I like).

I would like to spray it in Porsche 'Baltic Blue'. I know this is not a correct period colour for early 911 but has anyone seen or have a photo of one in this colour.

    Thanks.

Beautiful color. There's also an early 911 gray/blue that's very close to this. Forgot the name. Great shots of it in the Peter Morgan book.

It's a book called "ORIGINAL PORSCHE 911 - The Guide To All Production Models 1963-98." It's a terrific resource detailing the evolution of the 911 from it's birth. Anyways, the car/color I'm referring to is a '65 listed as "SLATE GREY", color # 6401. There are pictures of the car's exterior on pages 11, 13, 14, 22 and 29. (Not to mention it's extraordinary red interior on pages 16-17) I remember pictures of a car in the same color from last years Porsche fest in Ventura posted here somewhere. You should check it out before you go with the Baltic Blue.

I had a '66 911 that was painted '80-ish Porsche Light Blue Metallic. Looked very good with all the shiny chrome bits. Sadly the only picture I have is an old polaroid on the fridge.
