On Track - Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix

We went down to see the practice today, and somehow Curt and I ended up on the track?? I think we were full opposite lock in the last pic... trying to outbrake an R10 TDI. I'm not sure though, had my eyes closed.

Ummmm.... guyz.... I can definitely see you're on a race track....very cool

    but...ummm... Helmets....?

come to think of it.....I don't even see a stock shoulder belt?....is it the photo angle(s)??

I have been on California speedway with da boyz during lunchtime laps and we didn't have helmets.... but umm.... we wern't doing anything that put us in lock to lock steering situations as I think you are describing

Things can happen R E A L fast out there....I know, believe me.

    Please..... be careful.

Okay, despite Curt's dramatic posing we weren't REALLY passing an R10. Just parade laps, being paced by a Cayenne no less. We did get some speed through a few turns, but no real need for a helmet. I left it at home anyway.

With Curt's capable driving, my biggest fear was dropping my strapless iPhone (camera) on the track!

I offered the poor starving girl on the left a sandwich, but she wouldn't eat it
