    Correct '68s Sporto Trani Code?

My '68S has a sporto trani with type code 905/01 and serial number 4180476.
I can't locate this number in my books. Is it the correct type for my car?

    Thanks, John

    Yes, that's the correct transmission type (905/01) for a Sportomatic-equipped '68S.

905/01 transmissions had serial numbers in the range:

    4180001 - 4189999

Your engine should be type 901/08 with a serial number also beginning 418XXXX
